More often than not we live in fear of not getting things done. Time passes as quickly as never imagined before. And our desires, expectations, and demands keep increasing. We not only forget ourselves but our surroundings, its colors, smells, people. We stop living the present moment and therefore navigate without direction. Turning our attention inwards will allow for creative solutions and ideas to come forth & live the present as a gift.

Within us lies an infinite power of wisdom still dormant, waiting for us to welcome it in our daily decisions. When we connect with our own self we discover unlimited potential to innovate.

Let us become our own leaders to shine forth our own innate qualities. No one is responsible for our lives. We are the architects of our own destiny. We create and we destroy. 3 Mindful Steps

3 mindful steps to mind empowerment. We receive messages and information every day. It passes through our eyes, ears, and senses. However, we don´t file all of it, and much is essential. Three critical steps to mindful living:

1. Develop your concentration. 

Every time you’re doing something put your attention there. Do not be distracted by your surroundings as exciting as it may seem. Train your mind to be there. If you do this practice regularly, a day will come when you will have developed concentration.

2. Save your tongue inside. 

When you hear something you do not agree with, do not like or just want to refute or answer, better just shut up. Take note in that space of time that you are silent, all the thoughts you keep that are not necessarily important to share. Speak only when it is necessary and valuable. Rest, save energy. The same power will be available when it is essential.

3. Watch your ego. 

We receive too much information in our everyday life, and our ego wants to refute, know and experience. It distracts us from all that is not important. These distractions make us feel exhausted and confused as to which road to take. Carefully observe where it takes you and value if you have to go that root before doing so. Take your time to watch yourself instead of “blindly” walking.

If you practice these 3 mindful steps, you will get to have much more mindfulness in your daily tasks, a more precise direction towards the road to take and the necessary internal work discipline to maintain a robust, bright and clear mind.

3 Pasos Claves hacia la Atención Plena

3 Mindful Steps

Cada día recibimos mensajes e información. Pasa por nuestros ojos, nuestros oídos, nuestros sentidos. Sin embargo, no toda la archivamos y mucha es de importancia. 3 pasos claves para no despistarte y tener atención plena:

1.  Desarrollar tu concentración.

Cada vez que estás haciendo algo pon tu atención ahí. No te distraigas con tu entorno por más interesante que te parezca. Entrena a tu mente a estar ahí. Si haces esta práctica constantemente, el día menos pensado habrás desarrollado tu concentración.

2. Guardar tu lengua dentro.

Cuando escuchas algo con lo que no estás de acuerdo, no te gusta o simplemente quieres rebatirlo o contestar, cállate. Observa en ese espacio de tiempo que mantienes silencio todos los pensamientos que vas guardando y que realmente no son importantes compartir. Habla solo cuando sea necesario y valioso. De resto, ahorra energía. Esa misma te permitirá tenerla para lo que realmente es importante.

3. Observa tu ego.

En el día a día hay tanta información, que nuestro ego por naturaleza lo quiere rebatir, saber y experimentar. Nos distrae en todo aquello que no es importante para luego sentirnos muy cansados y despistados del camino a coger. Observa por donde te lleva y valora si has de ir por ahí antes de hacerlo. Tómate tu tiempo en auto-observarte en lugar de ir “a ciegas”.

Si pones en práctica estos tres pasos, conseguirás tener mucha más atención plena en tus tareas diarias, una dirección más clara hacia el camino a coger y una disciplina de trabajo interno tan necesaria para mantener una mente fuerte, brillante y clara.
