The Inner Warrior is a book that will make you re-consider vital aspects of your life as you embrace uncertainty.

How many times we have wondered how? Can I? At the very moment of deciding, we stop. We re-think before embarking on a task we initially said yes.

How about listening? Asking within for direction, for purpose, for meaning? Paying attention to the answers and taking those to action with no hesitation, fully convinced.

Mastering the mind is not easy. However, it is the most important skill we need to learn in this game of life. Negative thoughts waste our energy.

In this time of “crisis” that we live, it is important to stop and reflect often on what is happening around us. This reflection will give us the temperance, security and self-confidence we need to meet our goal.

More often than not we live in fear of not getting things done. Time passes as quickly as never imagined before. And our desires, expectations and demands keep increasing. We not only forget ourselves but our surroundings, its colors, smells, people. We stop living the present moment and therefore navigate without direction. Turning our attention inwards will allow for creative solutions and ideas to come forth & live the present as a gift.

Within us lies an infinite power of wisdom still dormant, waiting for us to welcome it in our daily decisions. When we connect with our own self we discover unlimited potential to innovate.

Let us become our own leaders to shine forth our own innate qualities. No one is responsible for our lives. We are. We are the architects of our own destiny. We create and we destroy. Therefore, let´s design our days aligned with higher goals and ideals to live a life that accomplishes our dreams. Today is now, yesterday is past, and tomorrow is starting today. Today is all. What we do now will define our tomorrows.

“The Inner Warrior” reminds us to pay attention to our true “calling”…. – Bindu, Boston 27th February 2017

Coaching Leaders in Constant Change

Coaching Leaders in Turbulent Times: Dealing with Complexity, Chaos and Constant Change

COACHING LEADERS IN CONSTANT CHANGE

Director of Executive Coaching and Leadership at Google, David B. Peterson, shared at the Harvard Coaching Conference, the importance of using diverse coaching skills as leaders:

“We are not prepared to learn effectively in a complex, constantly changing world”  David Peterson, Director of Executive Coaching and Leadership at Google

The call: Looking inward and looking forward into a new framework of leadership. One where learning new ways to manage change will be critical to succeed
As I visit more and more places around the world, I detect three key aspects: lack of meaningful long-term goals, lack of presence and absence of focus – Bindu Dadlani
Coaching Leaders in Turbulent Times: Dealing with Complexity, Chaos and Constant Change
World-Renowned Coaching Leader and Director of Executive Coaching and Leadership at Google David Peterson with Power Coach Bindu Dadlani

David explained the concept of Learning Agility (Mitchinson & Morris, 2012) and Mindfulness, paying attention consciously, looking for what is new and different, questioning preconceived ideas (Langer, 1998-2011). As well as, the ability to be fully aware and open to the experience of the present moment –non-judgmental attention (Lee, 2012), as two critical skills for leading in turbulent times.

He encouraged leaders to have “moments of reflections to keep ourselves open to exploring new ideas and implications.” Also, he highly recommended that as we deal with more complexity and constant change both in our personal and professional lives, three qualities are essential: presence, focus, awareness, and non-judgment (Brown, Ryan & Creswell, 2007).

As I visit more and more places around the world, I detect three key aspects: lack of meaningful long-term goals, lack of presence and absence of focus. This trend is increasing. Also, directly affecting leaders across companies worldwide. We perceive being busy as chic. However, these leaders find it hard to look within themselves to see the truth, and therefore, carry a life of purpose. An increasing number of seniors want others to perceive them as having a busy lifestyle when they are missing out on living the present. Life has no guarantee; not realizing this is the real FOMO.

Judgment will stop happening when we love ourselves sufficiently to stop looking into other people´s lives. To thoroughly enjoy the here and the now, decreasing levels of ego is a must. In this new age, calmness is a prerequisite to happiness. And happiness the key to a harmonious home-work environment.

For this to change, we need to practice self-awareness daily.  This trait will lead to focus and concentration. This will help to know who we are, where we are, what we want and where we are heading. The big picture will be undoubtedly visible, and changes will be more natural to make from a space of knowledge versus chaos.

To be aware of our thoughts and emotions, open without evaluation, with an accepting attitude and in the present moment is not easy. However, it is one of the roads to effective leadership. Someone who genuinely practices achieving these traits will master its weaknesses making the person ready to lead others in the right direction.

The call: Looking inward and looking forward into a new framework of leadership. One where learning new ways to manage change will be critical to success.

Leading from within – Coaching – Madrid

Within…is the answer…

Leading from within

Conference:

Leading from Within.

Conscience in Management.

21st Century Enlightened Leadership

Leading from Within is the title of the conference that Bindu Dadlani gave to MBA students at United International Business Schools in Madrid on 22nd May 2013.  She presented examples of great good versus great leaders. During this 2 hour conference, students understood and discovered key aspects of self-knowledge for the effectiveness of a great leader, as well as the link between the success of a company and the level of emotional intelligence of their leaders. At the end of the conference there was an extra hour of practical exercises and techniques to tame the mind. A breakthrough discovery – as they were approaching important personal and professional decisions in their lives…

Madrid 22 May 2013

EXECUTIVE INNER MINDFULNESS COACHING, Bindu Dadlani, unleashes your “hidden” potential.

Bindu personalizes each session to the specific aspect that needs to get resolved. Through her unique tool-kit she empowers you to find the truth of the present situation, fixing it from the root. You will make changes inside to allow for new opportunities to emerge outside. A different program all together gets recorded; achieving a different experience.

“Yad Bhavam Tad Bhavati” – As one imagines, so one becomes.

“Things do not change: we change” – Henry David Thoreau

Trace the path to your goal and design your map to “success”. Make decisions from the Higher Consciousness and not from your “monkey mind”. You will be happy with what you decide, once you align it with your conscience and values – Bindu Dadlani
